Senior Product Manager – LED Lighting 

Due to continued expansion, the company is inviting a Senior Product Manager to join us and support the development of a full range of linear lighting solutions, controls and emergency lighting.

Product Managers are key to the success of the company and take charge of the product from concept to sale, they have significant autonomy working with senior management in developing a coherent and industry leading product range. It’s an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing and dynamic team and to demonstrate your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Product Manager will have responsibility to develop a full range of LED luminaries and will work closely with the LED Product Management team, aiming to develop a comprehensive and industry leading LED Lighting portfolio.

The role holder will be tasked with the following:

  • Take charge of developing the range with an emphasis on innovation and performance
  • Take input from customers and the market and devise a product roadmap
  • Selecting and approving suppliers with competitive advantages
  • Select and evaluate samples and products for inclusion in our range from a technical and commercial viewpoint
  • Take charge of specifications and technical approvals of the product with our compliance team
  • Define marketing and pricing policies for the product range
  • Provide commercial and technical support
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and stock levels
  • Visit suppliers in Asia

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have good knowledge of products, the market  and customers’ needs and wants, they will take charge of a product range demonstrating commercial and technical acumen, have the skill and knowledge to bring to the market a range of  industry leading and innovative products
  • Have knowledge and experience of importing products from Asia
  • Be a skilled negotiator
  • Ambitious to progress further
